Spirit

Hey Alane,
I was just thinking of you and how I must get an update off to you.  We thought we were attached and loved him in December, but ----  he is so much a part of our lives now that we can't remember when we didn't have the big black lug!!  What a joy!!!

He rarely truly freaks about noises and has learned who is just fine to approach as far as our regular visitors.  When the air isn't on we leave a door open so the dogs can come and go as we are working outside or inside.  He is very confident about doing this on his own.  We have a Morton Building that is our project and fiber workshop --  he is just beginning to feel comfortable walking in to see what we are up to.

Jack says he still misses me and doesn't like it when I'm running errands etc.  But I see that he loves to greet "Daddy' when he comes home. We love the way he lays with his big ol' back legs straight out!! (The only grey we've had that does this.) He has learned to fit himself on the outside dog beds we throw on the patio for the herd. I will get Jack to email those comical photos since they are on his computer.  I'm certain that in short -- you can tell he is a real member of our gang here in Ohio.

Thank you again for making it possible for us to add him to our family.
In greyt friendship,
Marsha
