We couldn't have ordered more perfect weather for Oct. 3 and our Chili Meal Fundraiser. It was awesome just to be outside with your hounds on such a gorgeous day! We collected $1813 with the Silent Auctions (around $600), greyhound store (around $1100) and another hundred for the meal from everyone that attended. Of course we have some expenses in the calendars, canvas shopping bags, a little in the collars but most everything else was donated! This will give our bank account a good boost!

 

We can't thank enough!!! - Melton & Carlene Mitchell for hosting and making the awesome chili, Carla Myers for pricing all our store items and donating three Wonderful raffle prizes, Patti Wingert for helping in the store, Kelli Fleck for directing the silent auctions, Lynn Oyama as the gate keeper, Coca Cola Bottling Co. of the Ozarks for all the soda and water products, Mobile Julie for nail cutting and everyone that brought the sides and desserts and of course everyone that came and supported our greyhound adoption efforts with purchases and showing their love of their greyhounds.
