Summer Picnic 2005

Summer Picnic 2005

SATURDAY, JUNE 18

Please mark your calendars for the GPA picnic on Saturday, June 18, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.at Alane Shultz' house.  Instead of a potluck dinner this year, there will be a barbeque dinner provided by one of the barbecue places in town like Buckinghams or Crosstown  (we haven't decided yet!), and Patti Wingert is baking desserts.  Meal includes side dishes. Yummie!  CocaCola Products too for drinks!  The cost will be $6 per person.  There will also be a greyhound store and a silent auction to raise much-needed funds for our GPA group.  There will be games too, directed by Paula McVann!  We need your RSVP no later than Tuesday, June 14.  Please call or email Robin McKenna with the number of people in your group (see below).  The picnic committee would also very much appreciate volunteers to help in the following areas:  set up, clean up, silent auction table, greyhound store, and food table.   Please contact Danita Rafferty as soon as possible to let her know how you can help (see below).  Don't forget to bring a blanket to sit on and your greyhound(s)!  Looking forward to seeing everyone at the picnic!
